a presidential race down to the wire
the public doesn't trust a word they've said
convinced that each is--more or less--a liar
James Comey deemed that it would be uncouth
to prosecute a Clinton at this time
he testified that she'd told an untruth
but judged--de minimus--he saw no crime
while Donald lies as if it were his job
his assets' valuations come and go
inanities spew from his smarmy gob
of incidents that simply aren't so
at minimum, to be our head of state
I want someone who won't prevaricate
