Apocalyptic choices

Pence preaches we need more humility
but hitched his wagon to Babylon's Beast
who preens and boasts of his adultery
as if through it, his manhood were increased
bedfellows 'til November, then they'll part
and publish how each found the other odd
twin kiss-and-tells as bitter as they're tart
one thinks himself a saint, one thinks he's God
agendas differ, but their drive's the same
pursuit of power burns like carnal lust
for victory, for office, and for fame
but neither one deserves the public trust
by contrast, Hillary seems tried and true
the tool we're handed to paint Congress blue
