an angel told the Prophet to declaim
but human speech made that ambiguous
to one who couldn't read or write his name
the mission seemed impossible for us

although the charge initially seemed odd
he started preaching to the neighborhood
Submission to the perfect word of God
would lead imperfect Man towards the good

to deal with change, a new technology
must be available to those who look
for guidance when there's no more prophecy
to augment what's been written in the Book
