his endless need to mock and jeer and bray
proclaims he's not among Mensa's select
the Trumpen proletariat seem drunk
on visions of a fictive Golden Age
and won't concede he's only peddling bunk
because he resonates to their blind rage
their jobs are lost to robots year by year
and ev'ry immigrant looks like a threat
a bouffant fascist banking on their fears
floats high on peasants foundering in debt
despairing of their future, gazing back
they'd sell out our republic to this hack
