smart voters want to weigh tangible deeds
not rhetoric of vapid sentiments
we're taught the humblest among us can rise
to fill the highest office of the State
accomplishments and not your ad-team's lies
that sort the mediocre from the great
dynastic succession can promote fools
suppressing wisdom to focus on genes
or boost a special interest's willing tools
because their donations provide the means
we'd be bad democrats to bend the knee
to Clinton's heir just 'cause she's Hillary
